It's amazing how cats sense our emotions, like horses do I think. Mine get very upset when I am frustrated w my computer. I learned to really watch my temperament when around them. Win win I guess.

watching the animals do you ever feel they will get to aggressive? I know its not true, they are wild animals after all, but they always seem so docile and tame.

Absolute true story. I laughed so much I literally almost wet my pants. The weather is mild today, so I was outside (no one around) cleaning up my flower beds a bit when my neighbor came home with her adorable 3 y/o twin grandsons. they are just the cutest boys, so applying mask and keeping proper distance, we chatted a bit while the boys were running around playing chase. She asked me how I was faring, and I told her by watching lion cubbie videos and lions biting tires. What? I pulled out my phone from my pocket, loaded this video, fast-forwarded it to 4 minutes. Handed her the phone and told her to hit play, but the boys wanted to see, too. It's still funny. She laughed. The boys about fell down laughing. So we chatted a bit more, then noticed the boys were at the car in the driveway trying to bite holes in the tires. She pulled a Kevin (while laughing) Boys!! And they pulled a Gabby and ran around to the other side of the car. By this time I lost it. And exactly like Gabby, once lassoed, they sat on the front porch steps sulking for being "yelled at," while she washed their faces, hands and inside their mouths with a baby wipe. She was also laughing. One of the boys said: this is not funny, and the other guy answered: I know; right? " while he raised his little hands up and shook his head, which we both just laughed and they sulked more. Such joy in such small packages. I live in the US, and these are difficult times for all of us. But this little incident with Gabby and then the boys is evidence there is light in the world, and together we will get through this, and hopefully come out the other side better people. Not that it matters, but I'm white and my neighbor is not, but when I see her and those adorable boys, I don't see color at all -- just joy !! Gabby !!!! Still so funny. The gorgeous face/head at 24-25 seconds is breathtaking. Click settings, mute the sound, set speed to 25, then be in awe of these glorious animals. I will never understand how anyone can kill them for a picture and their head mounted hanging on the wall. My sincere hope for those who do kill and abuse these and all other animals, from smallest to the sublime, like these beautiful lions and other big cats, that they go straight to Heaven, where they are met by St. Peter who advises he has a special job for them since on earth they were "wild big cat hunting," -- person thinks to himself -- all right, even up here I'm a big dog; I really am in Heaven -- St. P then gives him a clip board with a remote and has him escorted to the rainbow bridge, where it is his job to play and watch a video of that animal's life -- and death -- before they cross the bridge into paradise (which Kevin and Mandy's beautiful foundation/sanctuary is based on, because I am positive they, and everyone who works there, including Dr. Caldwell and his team, are all really angels in disguise.) The lion killer will have to immerse himself into that life and experience the starvation, abuse, mistreatment, murder in an enclosed pen -- over and over and over again. He will beg for mercy to have it stopped, and St. Peter will reply: I will give you the same mercy as you gave the animals you killed, which is none." I know. I have been in self-isolation due to covid for almost a year. I am in the highest group that if I get it, carries a 99.99 % chance of death. But I do pray for them in the hopes they will begin to see with new eyes the true agony these poor animals endure just to have someone pay 50 grand to kill them while in a pen with no chance of self defense, then posing with the body.

Kev you know if you are still doing this as a senior citizen these lions are going to break you just playing around.
