It’s sad that you can’t go in with Gandalf like the other lions. It would be nice to see him more up close instead of through a fence. Unfortunately you cannot due to the rest of that group not being “tame”

This is a sanctuary. These animals were rescued by Kevin from the canned hunting industry and some of them have medical issues.

I remember watching your videos when I was like 12 or something and I was like omg this guy is gonna die by one of the lions he’s crazy... I’m in my 20s now lol and I’m just amazed to see how good you are with them and how they are with you, they’re actually really loving when In the right environment and person. It’s amazing how far you’ve come. I know it’s not all peaches all the time and it can always be dangerous but you’ve done and are doing so well, it just blows my mind that you’re able to be so close to them and how you’ve been able to sustain the bonds you’ve made❤️ it’s so heartwarming to see.

I so love watching these wonderful videos. The relationship Kevin has with all these beautiful lions, panthers and hyenas. Hyenas have such a horrible reputation but they are so loving with Kev. They are very protective of their clan and babies. There are some hyenas That like to be close to Kev but he knows them so well he knows when to leave.

At least these animals are in the wild, unlike some who keep them as pets. This is a more proper way to hang around wild animals, but im a huge advocate of leaving them alone. We are not their companions

Everytime I see a Hyena it reminds me of the college kid in florida who somehow got a Hyena pup and tried to raise it in an apartment and it ended up ramming into the walls at full speed and destroying his place and somehow bit and snapped his arm bones.

My gosh the way the lioness let you remove those ticks from her was amazing. My cats are a nightmare when I need to flea and worm them. I do it no probs, they just don't speak me to me for a few hours. Try and do it as calmly as possible without any stress. Obviously haven't got the knack like Kevin has with his big cats. Love your relationship with the animals. The world needs more of this.

I'm curious how each pride reacts to his smell after he's been with another pride? It's like you've been cheating on them or something. Also would make me nervous going into a lion enclosure after just being with the hyenas! Definitely wouldn't want to smell like a hyena when the lions were hungry.
