Something interesting I learned not too long ago is that while both leopards and jaguars have a melanistic variant, the gene for melanism in leopards is recessive while the gene in jaguars is dominant.

Hey Kev any jobs with the big cats for a UK viewer? I had 2 cats exactly the same as these leopards, just 50 times smaller. But we seemed to get along and I love cats. Is it too dangerous to properly pet them, like rub their tummy and roll around? Maybe the murder mittens are too much of a liability but I'd like to give it a go

I have black cats. One is angry that I am ignoring her while I write this. I love black cats! Black Panthers are beautiful also. I hope they are doing well and well protected. The wild is where they belong.

This is a sanctuary. These animals were born in captivity at a canned hunting farm and were rescued by Kevin. If it weren't for him they'd be in far worse conditions or most likely dead.

Much better intro music. Black Leopards are the best big cat in my opinion. Rare. Most powerful neck. They only let you see them if they want you to see them. Best personality although Amy used to be my favorite cause she was such a good cat.

Black panther could describe any large black cat. It isn't it's own separate species. It could apply to black leopards, black jaguars etc. In this context, yes black panther and black leopard is the same.
